This is a record to thank those precious souls in my life for their kindness during a tricky time.

In February 2023 my home was invaded and consequently robbed by big mystery strangers whilst I was in Iceland at 'The Fish Factory' (check it out - it's amazing) recording on an artist residency with amazing project 'Astra Forward' (Check it out, she's amazing). The grief and vulnerability formed due to loss of instruments, recording equipment, items etc. was entirely overshadowed by the theft of a laptop computer which I had saved up for whilst studying filmmaking at University. I had foolishly left many things as they were, and the lack of digital back up meant that two years worth of sentimental and creative output were turned to echoes. This hit quite hard. Pascal, the guitarist in our project and all round creative polymath (check him out, he's amazing) wordlessly set up a Go fund me page to try and recoup some of the multiple financial losses whilst I hurled rocks and tears into the icy sea (literally). Upon realisation of this act of kindness and the consequent acts of generosity trickling into that website from familiar names across the world gave a sense of family, shelter and healing, and shone lights brighter than I will ever be able to truly convey.

This record is a personal thank you to those that contributed to this process, lifting the weight of loss from my chest with their own care. It includes a couple of new versions of songs I considered landmarks in personal time, some instrumental things, some songy songs, and well.. you'll get the gist.
